Second Brain puts a coordinated team of AI agents to work on your Obsidian vault. Describe what you need in plain language — the agents plan, research, write, and review your notes so you don’t have to.

How it works

1

Open a vault

Point Second Brain at any Obsidian vault folder. The app indexes all your notes so agents have full context.
2

Choose a mode

Pick an AI mode — Standard, Education, Organization, Research, Planning, or Token-Hungry — to shape how agents respond.
3

Describe your task

Type a request in plain language. Attach PDFs or markdown files for extra context if needed.
4

Agents deliver

The Manager, Planner, Researcher, Builder, and Critic agents collaborate to complete your request and write directly to your vault.

Key features

Surgical editing

Agents modify existing notes with high-precision unified diff patches — no accidental overwrites.

AI modes

Six purpose-built modes tune the agents for education, research, planning, and more.

Context attachments

Attach PDFs, markdown, or pasted text to give agents richer context for any task.

Audit log

Every file operation is logged. Filter, review, and export a full history of vault changes.
